<br /> N~ ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND
<br /> CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, OF PART OF LOTS SEVEN (7) AND
<br /> EIGHT (8) IN BLOCK SEVEN (7) D.S. COMBS
<br /> ADDITION, ~~ ADDITION LOCATED IN SAID CITY,
<br /> TO LUCY G. BADILLO; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
<br /> EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO LUCY G. BADILLO
<br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, advertised for
<br /> bids for the sale of Lots seven (7) and Eight ( 8) in Block
<br /> Seven (7), D.S. Combs Addition, an addition to the City of
<br /> San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, according to the map or plat
<br /> thereof, recorded in Volume 42, Page 332 of the Deed Records
<br /> of Hays County, Texas, also known as Urban Renewal Parcel No.
<br /> 35A-13 In the San Marcos Record, a local newspaper with a
<br /> general circulation in the County of Hays, State of Texas, on
<br /> September 11, 1983 and September 13, 1983; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement a bid was
<br /> submitted by Lucy G. Badillo for said described property In
<br /> the amount of four thousand and one dollars ($ 4 , 001. 00); and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said bid met the minimum disposition price set
<br /> for said property by the Urban Renewal Board of Commissioners
<br /> of the City of San Marcos, Texas on September 8, 1983; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board accepted the bid as the highest and
<br /> best responsible bid for said property on September 16, 1983;
<br /> and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board recommends the approval of said
<br /> purchase price and the approval of the terms and conditions
<br /> for said sale, as contained In the bid document; now,
<br /> therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the terms and conditions of the sale by
<br /> the City of San Marcos, Texas, of part of lots Seven (7) and
<br /> Eight (8) In Block Seven (7), D.S. Combs Addition, an
<br /> addition to the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas,
<br /> according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 42,
<br /> Page 332 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, which
<br /> said portion of said lotsis more particularly described by
<br /> metes and bounds as follows, to-wit:
<br /> Part of Lots Nos. Seven (7), and Eight (8), in
<br /> Block No. Seven (7) of the D.S. Combs Addition to
<br /> said city according to plat of said addition
<br /> recorded In Volume 42, Page 332 of the Hays
<br /> County Deed Records and the property conveyed
<br /> hereby is described by metes and bounds as
<br /> follows:
<br /> BEGINNING at the most Eastern corner of said Lot
<br /> No. 8 in said Block No. 7;
<br /> THENCE N. 45 degrees W. with the N.E. line of
<br /> said Lot No. 8, 50 ft. for corner;
<br /> THENCE S 45 degrees W. 105.83 feet for corner;
<br /> THENCE S. 45 degrees E. 50 feet to the S.E. line
<br /> of said Lot No. 7 on the N.W. line of Valley
<br /> Street for corner;
