<br /> 90 <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas desires to <br />receive bids for the purchase of its $5,800,000 Combination Tax and Revenue <br />Certificates of Obligation, Series 1984-A; and <br />WHEREAS, First Southwest Company, Dallas, Texas, has been authorized <br />and requested to prepare a Notice of Sale and Bidding Instructions, Offi- <br />cial Bid Form and Official Statement containing financial, economic and <br />other data necessary and desirable to attract bids for said bonds; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />That the attached Notice of Sale and Bidding Instructions, Official <br />Bid Form and Official Statement relative to $5,800,000 City of San Marcos, <br />Texas Combination Tax and Revenue Certificates of Obligation, Series <br />1984-A, are hereby approved, both as to form and content, and said First <br />Southwest Company is authorized to distribute said Notice of Sale and <br />Bidding Instructions, Official Bid Form and Official Statement to prospec- <br />tive bidders for, and purchasers of, the bonds. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this the 5th day of March, 1984, by the City <br />Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, convened in special session <br />with a lawful quorum present. <br /> ~ <br /> Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />
