108 RESOLUTION 1984-16R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING 'rHE EMPLOYMENT OF JEFFREY H. KESTER, ARCHITECT FOR THE PROVISION OF ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES TO SAID CITY, TO-WIT: PREPARATION OF PLANS, SPECIFICA'rIONS AND ALL OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS; ADMINISTRA'rION OF BIDDING; JOB OBSERVATION; AND CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION, FOR THE RENOVATION OF A SINGLE-STORY MASONRY BUILDING LOCATED IN RIO VISTA PARK ON THE SAN MARCOS RIVER AND THE OLD FEDERAL HATCHERY BUILDING LOCATED IN SAID CITY; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas desires to renovate a single-story masonry building located in Rio Vista Park on the San Marcos River in the City of San Marcos, Texas; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas desires to renovate the Old Federal Fish Hatchery Building located in said City; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That Jeffrey H. Kester, architect is hereby authorized to provide full architectural services, to said City, to-wit: preparation of plans and specifications and all other contract documents; administration of biddings; job observations; and contract administration for the renovation of a single-story masonry building located in Rio Vista Park on the San Marcos River and the Old Federal Fish Hatchery Building located in said City, as provided in the contract which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, and the same is hereby approved in all respects. PART 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas, Emmie Craddock, is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City. PART 3.
