RESOLUTION 2014 -21R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PORTIONS OF HOPKINS <br />GUADALUPE, MLK, EDWARD GARY, SAN ANTONIO AND LBJ STREETS ON <br />SUNDAY, MARCH 16, 2014 FROM 6:30 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M. FOR THE CRITERIUM <br />BICYCLE RACE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SAN MARCOS CITY COUNCIL: <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby authorizes the closure of the following streets on <br />March 16, 2014 from 6:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in order to safely conduct the Criterium bicycle <br />race in downtown San Marcos: <br />Hopkins, between CM Allen and Guadalupe <br />Guadalupe, between Hopkins and MLK <br />MLK, between Guadalupe and LBJ <br />Edward Gary, between LBJ and San Antonio <br />San Antonio, between Edward Gary and LBJ <br />LBJ, between MLK and Hopkins. <br />Section 2. The City Council hereby requests approval from TxDOT for the closure of <br />Hopkins and LBJ. <br />Section 3.
