<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br /> CITY OF SAN .f\ffiRCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING
<br /> THE PRICE AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY
<br /> THE CITY OF SAN .f\ffiRCOS, TEXAS, OF LOTS
<br /> ELEVEN (11) AND TWELVE (12) IN BLOCK THIRTY-
<br /> THREE (33) IN THE SECOND SECTION OF VICTORY
<br /> GARDENS, A SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN SAID CITY,
<br /> TO ISABEL CAUDILLO; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
<br /> EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO ISABEL CAUDILLO
<br /> AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, advertised for
<br /> bids for the sale of Lots Eleven (11) and Twelve (12) in Block
<br /> Thirty-Three (33) in the Second Section of Victory Gardens, a
<br /> subdivision in Hays County, Texas, according to the map or
<br /> plat thereof, recorded in Volume 130, Pages 48-52 of the Deed
<br /> Records of Hays County, Texas, also known as Urban Renewal
<br /> Parcel No. 44R-7 & 8 in the San Harcos Record, a local news-
<br /> paper with a general circulation in the County of Hays, State
<br /> of Texas, on August 23, 1982 and August 30, 1982; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement a bid was submitted
<br /> by Isabel Caudillo for said described property in the amount
<br /> of three thousand dollars ($3,000.00); and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said bid met the minimum disposition price set
<br /> for said property by the Urban Renewal Board of Commissioners
<br /> of the City of San Marcos, Texas on September 15, 1982; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board accepted the bid as the highest and
<br /> best responsible bid for said property on November 4, 1982; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board recommends the approval of said pur-
<br /> chase price and the approval of the terms and conditions for
<br /> said sale, as contained in the bid document; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> tffiRCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the terms and conditions of the sale by
<br /> the City of San Marcos, Texas, of Lots Eleven (ll) and Twelve
<br /> (12) in Block Thirty-Three (33) in the Second Section of
<br /> Victory Gardens, a subdivision in Hays County, Texas, according
<br /> to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 130, Pages 48-
<br /> 52 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texa s, also known as
<br /> Urban Renewal Parcel No. 44R-7 & 8, to Isabel Caudillo are here-
<br /> by approved.
<br /> SECTION 2. That the consideration of three thousand dollars
<br /> ($3,000.00) for said property be, and the same is herebvapproved.
<br /> SECTIOH 3. That the purchaser is hereby placed on notice
<br /> that the subject property is subject to assessment under the
<br /> provisions of Article 1105b, Texas Revised Civil Statutes.
<br /> SECTION 4. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br /> Emmie Craddock be, and is hereby, authorized to execute a warranty
<br /> deed to Isabel Caudillo from the City of San Marcos for said
<br /> property.
<br /> SECTION 5. That the importance of this Ordinance creates
<br /> an emergency and an imperative purpose necessary that the provisions
<br /> of the charter requiring that ordinances shall be read at three
<br /> separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become effective until
