<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ~1ENDING OR-
<br />DINANCE 1980-37 WHICH DETER.f\lINED APPROPRIA-
<br />TIONS FOR REVENUE SHARING ENTITLEMENT 12;
<br />AMENDING ORDINANCE 1982-41 WHICH SET FORTH
<br />AN ITEMIZED ESTIMATE OF THE EXPENSE OF
<br />~ CONDUCTING EACH ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT OF THE
<br />~ MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF SAID CITY FOR THE
<br />FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING ON OCTOBER 1, 1982,
<br />AND ENDING ON SEPTEMBER 30, 1983, AND
<br />APPROPRIATED MONEY FOR THE VARIOUS FUNDS AND
<br />PURPOSES OF SUCH ESTIMATE; REAPPROPRIATING
<br />FUNDS IN ORDINANCE 1981-70 AND 1982-41;
<br />ADOPTING SAID REAPPROPRIATIONS AND DECLARING
<br />AN EMERGENCY.

<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, after notice and public hearing, adopted the budget
<br />for said city for the fiscal year beginning October 1,1980
<br />and ending September 30, 1981, by Ordinance 1980-37 on
<br />September 8, 1980; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, that budget appropriated funds contained in
<br />Revenue Sharing Entitlement 12; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, after notice and hearing, adopted the budget for the
<br />fiscal year beginning October 1, 1982, and ending September
<br />30, 1983, by Ordinance 1982-41, adopted September 7, 1982; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said Ordinance 1982-41 set forth an itemized
<br />estimate of the expense of conducting the San Marcos municipal
<br />government for said fiscal year and appropriated money for the
<br />various funds and purposes of such estimate; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS in accordance with Section 8.16 in the City Charter
<br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas, said City Council declares
<br />that a public necessity exists which requires amendment of said
<br />budgets and Ordinances 1980-37 and 1982-41, now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS:

<br />SECTION 1. That Ordinance 1980-37 adopted September 8,
<br />1980, which set forth an itemized estimate of the expense of
<br />conducting each administrative unit of the municipal govern-
<br />ment of said city for the fiscal year beginning October 1,
<br />1980, and ending on September 30, 1981, and appropriated money
<br />for the various funds and purposes of such estimate, be amended
<br />as set forth in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated
<br />herein for all intents and purposes.

<br />SECTION 2. That the reappropriations of Revenue Sharing
<br />Entitlement 12 as shown on the said Exhibit A are hereby approved
<br />and adopted.
<br />
<br />SECTION 3. That Ordinance 1982-41, adopted September 7,
<br />1982, which set forth an itemized estimate of the expenses of
<br />conducting each administrative unit of the municipal government
<br />of said city for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1982, and
<br />ending on September 30, 1983, and appropriated money for the
<br />various funds and purposes of such estimate, be amended as set
<br />forth in Exhibit B which is attached hereto and incorporated
<br />herein for all intents and purposes.

<br />SECTION 4. That the said reappropriations which shall be
<br />the amended budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the
<br />fiscal year 1982-83, be, and the same are hereby, approved
<br />and adopted.

<br />SECTION 5. That the importance of this Ordinance creates
<br />an emergency and an imperative purpose necessary that the
<br />provisions of the charter requiring that ordinances shall be
<br />read at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall
