Hopkins - Special Called Meeting <br />630 East Hopkins <br />San Marcos, TX 78666 <br />City Manager's Conference Room <br />With a quorum present, the special called meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to <br />order by Mayor Daniel Guerrero at 6:03 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in the City Manager's <br />Conference Room, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Present: 7 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem John Thomaides, Deputy Mayor Pro Tenn <br />Wayne Becak, Council Member Ryan Thomason, Council Member Shane Scott, <br />Council Member Jude Prather and Council Member Lisa Prewitt <br />III. EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />1. 6:OOPM Executive Session in accordance with Section § 551.074 of the Texas <br />Government Code: Personnel Matters - Set annual goals with Appointees to wit: City <br />Manager, City Attorney, and City Clerk. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Scott, seconded by Council Member Prather, to enter <br />closed session at approximately 6:04 p.m. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Becak, <br />Council Member Thomason, Council Member Scott, Council Member Prather and <br />Council Member Prewitt <br />Against: 0 <br />2. Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. <br />The Council reconvened at approximately 9:47 p.m. Appointees set goals for the next evaluation <br />period with the Council during Executive Session. Council will have a team building workshop <br />for Directors and Council during the month of August. <br />IV. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. <br />None. <br />V. Adjournment. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Thomason, seconded by Council Member Becak, to <br />adjourn the special called meeting of the San Marcos City Council at 9:49 p.m..
