Hopkins - Special Called Meeting 630 East Hopkins San Marcos, TX 78666 City Manager's Conference Room With a quorum present, the special called meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order by Mayor Daniel Guerrero at 6:03 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in the City Manager's Conference Room, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. II. Roll Call Present: 7 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem John Thomaides, Deputy Mayor Pro Tenn Wayne Becak, Council Member Ryan Thomason, Council Member Shane Scott, Council Member Jude Prather and Council Member Lisa Prewitt III. EXECUTIVE SESSION 1. 6:OOPM Executive Session in accordance with Section § 551.074 of the Texas Government Code: Personnel Matters - Set annual goals with Appointees to wit: City Manager, City Attorney, and City Clerk. A motion was made by Council Member Scott, seconded by Council Member Prather, to enter closed session at approximately 6:04 p.m. The motion carried by the following vote: For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Becak, Council Member Thomason, Council Member Scott, Council Member Prather and Council Member Prewitt Against: 0 2. Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. The Council reconvened at approximately 9:47 p.m. Appointees set goals for the next evaluation period with the Council during Executive Session. Council will have a team building workshop for Directors and Council during the month of August. IV. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. None. V. Adjournment. A motion was made by Council Member Thomason, seconded by Council Member Becak, to adjourn the special called meeting of the San Marcos City Council at 9:49 p.m..
