<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THR
<br />CITY OF SAN ~ffiRCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE
<br />PRICE AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE
<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF PART OF
<br />LOT A IN BLOCK NO. ONE (1) OF THE B.W.
<br />BREEDING ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY TEXAS, TO CHESTER
<br />BRO~m;AUTHORIZING THE ~1AYOR TO EXECUTE A
<br />WARRANTY DEED TO CHESTER BRO~m; AND DE-
<br />CLARING AN EMERGENCY
<br />
<br />WHEP~AS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, advertised for
<br />bids for the sale of that certain real property known as a
<br />part of lot A in Block no. one (1) of the B.W. Breeding
<br />Addition to the City of San Marcos, in Hays County, Texas,
<br />also known as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 26A-9, in the San
<br />Marcos Record, a local newspaper with a general circulation
<br />in the County of Hays, State of Texas, on March 27, 1980
<br />and April 3, 1980; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement a bid was sub-
<br />mitted by Chester Brown for said described property in the
<br />amount of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00); and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said bid met the minimum disposition price set
<br />for said property by the Urban Renewal Board of Commissioners
<br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said Board accepted the bid as the highest and
<br />best responsible bid for said document; now, therefore,
<br />

<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. That the terms and conditions of the sale by
<br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, of a part of lot A in Block no.
<br />one (1) of the B.W. Breeding Addition to the City of San Marcos,
<br />in Hays County, Texas, also known as Urban Renewal Parcel No.
<br />26A-9, said tract being further described by metes and bounds
<br />as follows:
<br />
<br />BEING the southeast portion of Lot "A" in Block
<br />No. One (1) of the B.W. Breeding Addition to the
<br />City of San Marcos, according to the plat now of
<br />record in Volume "0", Page 202, Hays County Deed
<br />Records.
<br />
<br />THENCE, S450W, along the most southeastern line
<br />of said Lot "A", 88.89 feet to the most southern
<br />corner of said Lot "A";
<br />
<br />THENCE, N450W, along the most southwestern line
<br />of said Lot "A", 60 feet to apoint for corner;
<br />

<br />THENCE, N450E, and parallel to the most south-
<br />eastern line of said Lot "A", 88.89 feet to a
<br />point in the most southwestern line of Jackman
<br />Street for corner;
<br />
<br />THENCE, S450E, along the most southwestern line
<br />of Jackman Street, 60 feet to the PLACE OF BE-
<br />GINNING, and being that identical real property
<br />heretofore described in and conveyed by a deed
<br />of trust, dated November 20, 1978, now of record
<br />in Vol. 318, Pages 785-786, Hays County Deed of
<br />Trrrust Records,
<br />
<br />to Chester Brown are hereby approved.
