RESOLUTION 2015 -02R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AWARDING AN IDIQ MASTER CONTRACT FOR <br />TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE TO AUSTIN <br />TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. IN THE <br />ESTIMATED ANNUAL AMOUNT OF $534,470.00 CONTINGENT UPON <br />THE BIDDER'S TIMELY SUBMISSION OF SUFFICIENT BONDS AND <br />INSURANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY'S BID DOCUMENTS <br />FOR THE PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS <br />DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS <br />PART 1. The award of a construction contract (the "Contract ") to Austin Traffic <br />Signal Construction Company, Inc. for the IDIQ Master Contract for Traffic Signal Construction <br />and Maintenance (IFB 215 -004) in the estimated annual amount of $534,470.00 is approved <br />contingent upon the bidder's timely submission of sufficient bonds and insurance in accordance <br />with the City's bid documents for the Project. <br />PART 2. The Contract may be automatically renewed for two (2) additional periods <br />of 365 calendar days each. <br />PART 3. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the contract <br />documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 4.
