RESOLUTION 2016 -11R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />AGREEMENT WITH LOCKWOOD, ANDREWS & NEWNAM, INC. FOR <br />THE PROVISION OF ENGINEERING SERVICES IN CONNECTION <br />WITH THE COERS DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT IN THE NOT - <br />TO- EXCEED AMOUNT OF $149,875.00 CONTINGENT UPON THE <br />ENGINEER'S PROVISION OF SUFFICIENT INSURANCE IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED AGREEMENT; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO <br />EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached professional services agreement between the City and <br />Lockwood, Andrews &Newnam, Inc. for the provision of engineering services in connection <br />with the Coers Drive Improvements Project in the not -to- exceed amount of $149,875.00 is <br />approved contingent upon the Engineer's provision of sufficient insurance in accordance with the <br />attached agreement. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the Agreement on <br />behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
