1 I MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OCTOBER 2, 1995 PRESENT: Mayor Kathy M. Morris Mayor Pro-Tern * Robert Mooney Council Members Billy G. Moore Ronald K. Hart 1-- Fred Guerra ¡ Joe B. Cox, Jr. ! Rick Hernandez City Manager Larry Gilley Assistant City Manager Laura Huffman City Secretary Janis K. Womack City Attorney Mark Taylor MuITicipal Court Judge Ross Allegro Also Present: William Ford. Mayor Morris called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m. Mayor Morris introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the, Government Code, Chapter 551.074, to discuss evaluations of public employees (City Manager, City Attorney, Municipal Court Judge, City Secretary). Mr. Moore moved to adjourn into Executive Session at 6:17 p.m. and Mr. Hart seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Mooney not present to vote on this item and present for Executive Session). Mr. Hernandez moved to reconvene at 10:55 p.m. and Mr. Mooney seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval to set the salaries of the City Manager, City A~torney, City Secretary and , Municipal Court Judge. Mr. Moore moved to set the salary of the City Manager at $74,470.00, the City Attorney at $60,000.00, the Municipal Court Judge with a base salary of $47,102.00 and $6,000.00 for weekend magistration for a total salary of $53,102.00, and the City Secretary at $38,224.00, and Mr. Mooney seconded the motion, which passed unanimously, The meeting adjourned at 11:02 p.m, on motion made by Mr. Guerra and seconded by Mr. Hernandez.
