No one signed up to speak. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one <br />appointment to the Senior citizens ,Advisory Board. Mayor Morris <br />moved to appoint Alice Morgan and Mr. Moore moved to appoint Al <br />Borm. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> MORGAN: Mooney, Hart, Morris, Cox. <br /> BORM: Moore, Hernandez. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance <br />on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE 1994-1995 <br /> FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE SAN MARCOS PUBLIC <br /> TRANSIT SYSTEM; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />Mr. Moore moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Mr. <br />Hernandez seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was <br />recorded: <br /> AYE: Moore, Hart, Morris, Cox, Hernandez. <br /> NAY: Mooney. <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF CHAPTER 5, BUILDING CONSTRUCTION <br /> AND RELATED ACTIVITIES, OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES TO <br /> PROVIDE FOR CITY REGULATION OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS TO <br /> APPLY TO ALL WORK TO BE CONNECTED TO THE CITY'S ELECTRIC <br /> SYSTEM; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING A <br /> PENALTY. <br />* Mr. Guerra present at 7:41 p.m. <br />
