RESOLUTION 2017-02R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE <br />OF A TRIHALOMETHANES (THM) MONITOR (IFB 217-032) FROM <br />AQUA METROLOGY SYSTEMS OF SUNNYVALE, CALIFORNIA IN <br />THE TOTAL SUM OF $95,950 TO TEST THE LEVELS OF <br />DISINFECTANT BYPRODUCTS IN WATER PRODUCED AT THE <br />CITY'S WATER TREATMENT PLANT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The City Council hereby approves the award of a contract between the <br />City of San Marcos and Aqua Metrology Systems of Sunnyvale, California for the purchase of a <br />Trihalomethanes Monitor for use at the San Marcos Water Treatment Plant in the total sum of <br />$95,950. <br />PART 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the Contract on behalf of the <br />City. <br />PART 3.
