(1) J. M. Cape of 708 <br />River Road, stated the City needs to remedy the sewer plant odor. He <br />stated the problem has existed for four years, and it is time something <br />was done to correct the problem and asked how long it will take to <br />correct. Mr. Gilley stated there are immediate and long range plans to <br />correct this problem. (2) Laverne Sharp stated she lives at 710 River <br />Road next to the sewer plant. She stated she is tired of the odor, and <br />something needs to be done now to correct this problem. (3) John McBride <br />stated he is the Chair of the Bond Advisory Committee and was disappointed <br />to learn of the City Council's intention to dissolve the Committee <br />scheduled for consideration at this meeting (Item 14). He stated the <br />Committee has done a good job and thinks it is an important job. He <br /> <br />* Mr. Cox not present at this meeting. <br />
