Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present <br />With a quorum present, the Workshop of the San Marcos City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Susan Narvaiz at 6:02 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2009 in the Council Chambers of the <br />City of San Marcos City Hall, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />3. Discussion on the proposed Fiscal Year 2009-2010 Budget and provide direction to staff. <br />The City Council continued their discussion of the FY 2009-2010 Budget from the August 11, <br />2009 meeting. Consensus was reached on the following: <br />Economic Development San Marcos: The City Council accepted their recommendation. <br />Hotel/Motel Funds: There is $1,271,867 in available funds. The following recommendations <br />were agreed to be funded: <br />• Arts Commission $ 61,200 <br />• CVB $663,226 <br />.
