ORDINANCE 2019-15 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 3, DIVISION 19 ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT BOARD OF THE SAN MARCOS CITY CODE BY; <br />AMENDING SECTION 2.369 – CREATED; COMPOSITION; TERMS; <br />OFFICERS; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 2.369 of the San Marcos City Code pertaining to the Economic <br />Development Board is hereby amended to read as follows (Added text is indicated by <br />underlining. Deleted text is indicated by strikethr,,,,g ) <br />Sec. 2.369. - Created; composition; terms; officers. <br />(a) The economic development board is created, composed of 4-2 13 members consisting of 44 <br />12 voting members and one non-voting members, eight must be residents of the city, as <br />follows: <br />__._..______._.- <br />No. of <br />Position/Representing <br />appts. <br />1 CEO or senior management staff member of financial institution working in the city <br />1 CEO or senior management staff member of large company (100+ employees) <br />working in the city <br />1 CEO or senior management staff member of a medium company (26-100 <br />employees) working in the city <br />1 CEO or senior management staff member of manufacturing firm working in the city <br />1 Citizen at -large <br />1 City council member (ex officio voting member) <br />1 City manager (ex officio voting member) <br />1 Hays County (designated by commissioner's court and confirmed by council) <br />
