A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A CHANGE IN SERVICE TO THE <br />AGREEMENT WITH DELL MARKETING, L.P. (CONTRACT NO. 218- <br />298) THROUGH THE TEXAS COMPTROLLER OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS <br />DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION RESOURCES (DIR-TSO-3763) FOR <br />THE PURCHASE OF CORE SERVERS, SERVER NETWORIaNG <br />HARDWARE, END-USER DEVICES AND ONE THIRD OF PUBLIC <br />SAFETY IN -VEHICLE LAPTOPS TO REPLACE OUT OF WARRANTY <br />DEVICES IN THE ESTIMATED NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF <br />$600,000.00; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE <br />TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS TO IMPLEMENT <br />THE CHANGE IN SERVICE; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. A Change in Service to the agreement with Dell Marketing, L.P. (Contract No. <br />218-298) through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Department of Information Resources <br />(DIR-TSO-3763) for the purchase of core servers, server networking hardware, end-user devices <br />and one third of Public Safety in -vehicle laptops replace out of warranty devices in the estimated <br />not to exceed amount of $600,000.00 is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the appropriate <br />documents to implement the Change in Service. <br />PART 3.
