112 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APRIL 2, 1990 HELD JOINTLY WITH THE CITY COUNCIL OF NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS, IN NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS PRESENT: Mayor Kathy M. Morris Mayor Pro-Tern Rick Hernandez Council Members Billy G. Moore Ronald K. Hart * Fred Guerra Betty Jane Kissler Bill Plummer City Manager Larry Gilley City Secretary Janis K. Womack City Attorney Mark Taylor Contracted Legal Counsel Ed Carthy Also Present: New Braunfels' Mayor Douglas R. Miller and Council Members Ramon Chapa, Jr., Bill Arnold, Arno Becker, James Goodbread, Loraine Kraft, Eddie Temple, Assistant City Manager Hector M. Tamayo, City Secretary Veronica "Bonnie" Sarkozi, City Attorney Barry Moore, David Whatley and Bert Hooper. Mayor Morris called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Morris introduced an Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Section 2 (e) / V.A.C.S., to discuss pending litigation (GBRA vs. City of Lytle, Et AI) and contemplated litigation. Mr. Hernandez moved to adjourn into Executive Session at 7:01 p.m. and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Ms. Kissler moved to reconvene at 7:40 p.m. and Mr. Plummer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
