L; Moore, M.D. <br /> <br />The Mayor called the Special Meeting toorderat9 a.m., in the office <br />of the City Manager. <br /> <br />The Mayor reported on the Camp Gary Conference in Austin,' Feb. 1, <br />attended by Alderman Stokes, City Manager Fuller and himself. <br /> <br />The Mayor reported on his conference with officials of the Wally Byam <br />Club on consideration of San Marcos asa permanent headquarterS site. <br />Mr. Taylor took the officers on a tour of,possible sites, ending with <br />Camp Gary. The Mayor agreed that a brochure on the project would be <br />furnished the Wally Byam Club. <br /> <br />The Council received a Resolution approved by the Good Government League <br />on January 30, 1964, a copy of which is attached as a part of the Minutes. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Alderman Stokes introduced an Ordinance and moved its adoption. Caption <br />of the Ordinance, which was read in full, is as follows; <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR BORROWING MONEY AND <br />ISSUING CITY OF SAN MARCOS UIILITY FUND CUFlRE'IT EXPENSE <br />WARRANTS TO THE AMOUNT OF $40,000.00 FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF PAYlliG CURRENT OPERATlliG EXPENSES; PROVIDING FOR THE <br />PAYMENT OF THE PRINCIPAL AND INTERESI' OF SAID WARRANTS <br /> <br />Alderman Pool seconded the motion of adoption, and on roll call, the <br />following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE I Pool, Ruiz, Stokes <br />NAY; None <br /> <br />Whereupon, the Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted. <br /> <br />Three Petitions for Annexation, having lain five days, in compliance with <br />the statutes, were considered by the Council. <br /> <br />Alderman Stokes introduced an Ordinance and moved its adoption.
