Worrell <br />Bruce McE Iroy <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Alderman <br /> <br />Ruben Ruiz <br /> <br />Visitors: <br /> <br />Mrs. Jerri Veidt and Mrs. Carolyn Chandler <br /> <br />The Mayor Pro Tem called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Counci Imen canvassed the Election Returns of the City Officers' <br />Elect i on of Apri J 6, 1965. A I derman Poo I introduced a Reso I ut- <br />ion and Order certifying the returns as submitted by Presiding <br />Judges of the Election, and moved its approval. Alderman <br />Whittenberg seconded the motion. On roll call, the following <br />vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE; <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Pool, Tuttle, Whittenberg <br />None <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor Pro Tem declared the Resolution approved and <br />Ellis Serur duly elected Mayor; and Dr. Wi Iliam C. Pool and <br />Joe C. Froh duly elected Aldermen. The Order Declaring <br />Results of the Election is attached as a part of the Minutes. <br /> <br />The Mayor Pro Tem brought before the Counci I an application <br />from Lloyd Kyle for a permit to operate a bi IliaI'd table at <br />823 Comal Street. He reminded Counci Imen that Mr. Kyle ap- <br />pi i ed for a perm it in 1964, before enactment of a Ci ty ordi- <br />nance regulating operation of bi I liard tables for profit, and <br />that the Counci I had agreed at that time to issue a'permit to <br />Mr. Kyle, provided he agreed to comply with ~he pro~osed ordi- <br />nance after its passage.
