The Mayor introduced an ordinance annexing Tangiewood # 2, on first reading. Dr. Craddock moved passage of the ordinance. The Mayor introduced an ordi~ance and ~ead the caption: AN ORDINANCE REGULATING DRIVERS OF VEHICLES UPON MEET I NG OROVERTAK ING SCHOO L BUSES WH I CH HAVE STOPPED TO RECEIVE OR DISCHARGE SCHOOL CHILDREN; PROVIDING FOR APPROPRIATE MARKINGS OF ALL SCHOOL BUSES; SETTING OUT EXCEPTIONS IN THE CASES OF STREETS OR HIGHWAYS WITH SEPARATE ROADWAYS AND CONTROLLED-ACCESS HIGHWAYS; AUTHORIZING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO POST APPROPRIATE SIGNS TO ACQUAINT MOTORISTS WITH THE pROVISIONSOFTHIS ORDINANCE; DESIGNATING PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND DEC,LARING AN EMERGENCY.
