<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />115 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1979-20 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPOINTING A <br />BOARD OF EQUALIZATION; FIXING THE TIME <br />OF THE BOARD'S FIRST MEETING; AND DECLAR- <br />ING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 10.04 of the City Charter of the City of <br />San Marcos, Texas, calls for appointment by the City Council of <br />said City of a Board of Equalization each year prior to the <br />first day of June and for the fixing by ordinance of the time <br />of said Board's first meeting; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the following residents of the City of <br />San Marcos, Texas, being qualified voters and real property owners <br />in said City, be and are hereby, appointed as the Board of <br />Equalization: <br /> <br />Lou Cole, Mary Ann Convis, A. A. Grusendorf <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That the time of said Board's first meeting be, <br />and is hereby, scheduled for 2 o'clock p.m. on Friday, June 1, <br />1979, after which meeting the Board may reconvene and adjourn from <br />time to time to conduct its appointed business. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
