57 I ORDINANCE NO. 1978-12 I AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THAT ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR MEAT AND MEAT PRODUCTS PERMIT FEES, SAID ORDINANCE BE- ING RECORDED IN VOLUME 40, PAGE 29 OF THE MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND CODIFIED: AS SECTION 11-56 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, BY INCREASING' SAID FEES; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council desires to standardize the meat and meat products fees and the milk and milk products permit fees; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: Part 1. That Section 11-56 of the Code of Ordinanc.es of the Cii:y of San Marcos, being recorded in Volume 40, Page 29 of the Minutes of the City Council be, and is hereby, amended to read as follows: Any establishment desiring to sell or offer for sale meat, meat products, and meat food products within the corporate city limits, under this division shall pay the City Health Department the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for one (1) year. I Part 2. That this Ordinance shall become effective ten (10) days from and after its passage. PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading January 30, 1978.
