<br />218 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1977-21-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS APPOINTING PRESIDING JUDGES FOR PRECINCT NUMBERS 38, <br />34 AND 46 FOR THE REGULAR CITY OFFICERS' ELECTION TO BE HELD <br />APRIL 2, 1977. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Resolution ordering the April 2, 1977 City Officers' Election, approving <br /> <br />Charter amendment ballot propositions, and establishing procedures for conduct of <br /> <br />the election was adopted by the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, on <br /> <br />January 24, 1977; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the above ,described Resolution appointed Beverley Pennington, Mrs. J.R. Thornton. <br /> <br />and William Liddle as presiding judges for Precincts 33, 34 and 46 respectively;, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Miss Pennington, Mrs. Thornton and Dr. Liddle have submitted their resigna- <br /> <br />tions as presiding judges; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Part 1. That Kay Pinkerton be appointed Presiding Judge for Precinct #33, that <br /> <br />Irene Holland be appointed Presiding Judge for Precinct #34, and that Ruth Thom~s <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />be appointed Presiding Judge for Precinct #46 for the Regular City Election to be <br /> <br />held April 2, 1977. <br /> <br />Part 2.
