<br />37 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. ~977~~8 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN AMRCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION TWO OF THAT <br />ORDINANCE WHICH PROVIDES FOR A JOB CLASSIFICATION <br />AND SALARY SCHEDULE FOR THE PUBLIC SAFETY DIVISION <br />OF THE. CITY OF SAN MARCOS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos has heretofore established the <br />number of positions, classifications and salary~in-grade for civil service personnel <br />in the Public Safety Department; and <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, certain of these classifications and salaries have De en altered; now, therefore, I <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED EY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Part 1. That Section Two of that ordinance of the City of San Marcos, Texas, duly <br />passed and approved on the 23rd day of Feoruary, 1976, as set out in Volume 45, page 209 <br />of the Minutes of the City' Council of San Marcos, which provide for position, classifi- <br />cations and salary-in-grade for Civil Service personnel in the Public Safety Department, <br />be and is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 2: That there is hereby enacted a new Section 2-31 of Division 1" <br />Article III, Chapter 2 of said Code which shall read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 2-31.
