<br />144 , <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1977-21 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF 'mE CITY CClJ!'.CIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MAOCOS, TEXAS RE.VIS:m; THE BUIX;E1' FOR THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BE:;INNIN3 <br />rn ocroBER 1, 1976, ;,ND END:m; ON SEPTl'MBER 30, 1977, <br />'TO INCLUDE FEDERAL GENERAL RE\IENUE SHARING IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $268,336. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREIIS, Public law No. 92-512,."as.arnende:i by public law No. 94-488, of the <br />United States of America, requires that local recipients of general revenue sharing <br />furrls inclooe those furrls within their local budgets; and <br /> <br />WHEREIIS, in order to canply with this requirement, the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas,must revise its fudget for Fiscal Year 1976-77 to integrate these revenue <br />shadrlg funds into the City's budget; arrl <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a notice of public hearing on the arrendment to the budget for the <br />City of San Marcos, Texas, for the Fiscal Year 1976-77, was heretofore publ:Lshe:i <br />at least ten (.10) days in advance of said hearing; arrl <br /> <br />WHEREIIS, a public hearing on the arnerrle:i budget was duly held on the 23m <br />day of May, 1977, and all intereste:l. persons were given the opportunity to be <br />for or against any itan thereof; mw, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CClJ!'.CIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1.
