The Traffic Register, required by Section 82.067 of the City Code of Ordinances <br />needs to be amended to delete the time-restricted parking along the East Side of <br />Walnut Street~ <br /> <br />2~ The residents have requested that the no parking limitations be removed on both <br />sides of the street, however the City finds that the street can only accommodate <br />parking safely on the east side of the street~ <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 82.066 of the City of San Marcos Code of <br />Ordinances, the Traffic Register is amended to delete the 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P~M~ NO <br />PARKING TOW AWAY zone for the east side of the 200 block of Walnut Street. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. If anyword, phraseJ clause, sentencel or paragraph of this ordinance <br />is held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other <br />provisions of this ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the <br />invalid portion. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions <br />in conflict with this ordinance are repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 4~ This ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its <br />passage, and the City Clerk will publish notice of its adoption in a newspaper of general <br />circulation in the City. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading: April 12, 2004. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading: April 26, 2004. <br />
