The Traffic Register, required by Section 82.067 of the City Code of Ordinances needs to be amended to delete the time-restricted parking along the East Side of Walnut Street~ 2~ The residents have requested that the no parking limitations be removed on both sides of the street, however the City finds that the street can only accommodate parking safely on the east side of the street~ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 82.066 of the City of San Marcos Code of Ordinances, the Traffic Register is amended to delete the 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P~M~ NO PARKING TOW AWAY zone for the east side of the 200 block of Walnut Street. SECTION 2. If anyword, phraseJ clause, sentencel or paragraph of this ordinance is held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of this ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the invalid portion. SECTION 3. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict with this ordinance are repealed. SECTION 4~ This ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage, and the City Clerk will publish notice of its adoption in a newspaper of general circulation in the City.
