<br />APPROVING THE PRICES AND CONDITIONS
<br />OF THE SALE BY THE URBAN RENEWAL
<br />AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS, OF PARCEL 16D-4, (SEE LEGAL
<br />READING), LOCATED WITHIN THE JUAN
<br />VERAMENDI, PROJECT NDP, TEX. A-6,
<br />TO MR. AND MRS. JOSE M. RAMOS, PRO-
<br />PRIETOR, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, advertised for bids for the sale of certain property avail-
<br />able for disposition within its Juan Veramendi Urban Renewal Pro-
<br />ject NDP, Tex. A-6, in the San Marcos Record, a local newspaper
<br />with a general circulation within the City of San Marcos, Hays
<br />County, Texas 1 and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement there was a bid
<br />submitted by Mr. and Mrs. Jose M. Ramos for all of Parcel 16D-4
<br />within said project; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the said bids met the minimum disposition prices
<br />set upon said properties by the Agency; and,
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, said bids were accepted by the Board of Commissioners
<br />of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />after the nid opening of February 11, 1975, and by a resolution
<br />duly passed on February 11, 1975 and whereas said Resolution
<br />authorizes sale to Mr. and Mrs. Jose M. Ramos and recommended the
<br />acceptance and approval of the terms and conditions of the sale
<br />to the City Council1 and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the aforementioned bids and proposed use set forth
<br />in said bids and its terms and conditions conform to the Redevelop-
<br />ment Plan for the Juan Veramendi Project, NDP, Tex. A-6, and con-
<br />form to the plan for the development of the City as a whole.

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, THAT:
<br />
<br />1. The Prices and conditions of the sales of the Urban Renewal
<br />Agency of the City of San Marcos, Texas, of Parcel #16D-4, within
<br />the Juan Veramendi Project, NDP, Tex. A-6, to Mr. and Mrs. Jose M.
<br />Ramos are hereby approved in accordance with Section 11, of Article
<br />12691-3, Vernon's Annotated civil Statues of Texas.
<br />
<br />2. The properties to be sold as authorized in paragraph 1
<br />above are more particularly described by field notes attached
<br />hereto and marked as Exhibit "A" of this Ordinance.
<br />
<br />3. The consideration for said sale being a total amount of
<br />$7,500.00 is also hereby approved.

<br />4. T~e sale by the Urban Renewal Agency is made subject to
<br />the restriction of the Redevelopment Plan for the Juan Veramendi
<br />Project NDP, Tex. A-6, as approved and amended and on file in
<br />the office of the City Clerk.
