<br />AN ORDINANCE
<br />
<br />APPROVING THE PRICES AND CONDITIONS OF
<br />THE SALE BY THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY
<br />OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF
<br />PARCEL 14D-13 AND l6D-7 (SEE LEGAL
<br />READING), LOCATED WITHIN THE JUAN VERA-
<br />MENDI, PROJECT NDP, TEX. A-6, TO CHARLES
<br />VILLASENOR AND DIONICIO ALVARADO, SOLE
<br />PROPRIETORS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, advertised for bids for the sale of certain property avail-
<br />able for disposition within its Juan Veramendi Urban Renewal Pro-
<br />ject NDP, Tex. A-6, in the San Marcos Record, a local newspaper
<br />with a general circulation within the City of San Marcos, Hays
<br />County, Texasl and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement there was a bid
<br />submitted by Charles Villasenor and Dionicio Alvarado for all of
<br />Parcels 14D-13 and 16D-7 within said project; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the said bids met the minimum disposition prices
<br />set upon said properties by the AgencYl and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said bids were accepted by the Board of Commissioners
<br />of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />after the bid opening of March 3, 1975, and by a resolution
<br />duly passed on March 3, 1975, and whereas said Resolution
<br />authorizes sale to Charles Villasenor and Dionicio Alvarado, and
<br />recommended the acceptance and approval of the terms and conditions
<br />of the sale to the City Council; and,

<br />WHEREAS, the aforementioned bids and proposed use set forth
<br />in said bids and its terms and conditions conform to the Redevelop-
<br />ment Plan for the Juan Veramendi Project, NDP, Tex. A-6, and con-
<br />form to the plan for the development of the City as a whole.

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, THAT:
<br />
<br />1. The Prices and conditions of the sales of the Urban Renewal
<br />Agency of the City of San Marcos, Texas, of Parcel #14D-13 and l6D-7
<br />within the Juan Veramendi Project, NDP, Tex. A-6, to Charles Villa-
<br />senor and Dionicio Alvarado are hereby approved in accordance with
<br />Section 11, of Article 12691-3, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes of
<br />Texas.

<br />2. The properties to be sold as authorized in paragraph 1
<br />above are more particularly described by field notes attached
<br />hereto and marked as Exhibit "A", and Exhibit "B" of this Ordinance.
<br />
<br />3. The consideration for said sale being a total amount of
<br />$3,425.00 is also hereby approved.
<br />
<br />4. The sale by the Urban Renewal Agency is made SUbject to
<br />the restriction of the Redevelopment Plan for the Juan Veramendi
<br />Project NDP, Tex. A-6, as approved and amended and on file in the
<br />office of the City Clerk.
