RESOLUTION 1981-23R 124 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN EXPENDITURE OF THREE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FOUR DOLLARS ($3,704.00) FROM THE CONTINGENCY FUND, SAID SUM TO BE PAID TO TRINITY ENGINEERING TESTING CORPORA- TION, OF AUSTIN, TEXAS AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas has engaged the prof'essional services of Trinity Engineering Testing Corpora- tion of Austin, Texas, to install observation wells at the San Marcos Municipal Landfill in Caldwell County, to conduct an electrical resistivity survey at this site, to arrange for the chemical testing of water samples obtained from the site and to prepare the necessary engineering studies and reports pertaining to such activities; and, WHEREAS, said City has received a statement from Trinity Engineering Testing Corporation for three thousand, seven hundred four dollars ($3,704.00) for said professional services through January 12, 1981, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~HE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That three thousand seven hundred four dollars ($3,704.00) be, and the same is hereby, appropriated from the contingency fund of the City of San Marcos, Texas for payment to Trinity Engineering Testing Corporation of Austin, Texas for professional services in connection with tests and surveys concerned with soil characteristics and water quality performed pursuant to the application of the City of San Marcos for amend- ment to Municipal Solid Waste Permit No. 640.
