<br />125 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1974-9-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is with sadness and regret that we are <br /> <br />informed of the death of Frank Zimmerman; and <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Zimmerman, a most highly respected and <br /> <br />esteemed member of the community, had rendered distinguished <br /> <br />and unselfish service to the City as Mayor of San Marcos <br /> <br />from April 7, 1949 to April 5, 1951; as well as numerous <br /> <br />other contributions of leadership to various civic <br /> <br />organizations and community activities; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />that we recognize the achievements of Frank Zimmerman and his con~ <br /> <br />trbutions to the growth and progress of San Marcos, and extend <br /> <br />our condolences to his family and loved ones in this time of <br /> <br />sorrow. <br /> <br />Passed and approved this 22nd day of April, 1974. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-Tem <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />&~~ <br /> <br />Dor:i:ss Hambrick <br />City Secretary <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Tom Akins <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />I <br />
