<br />132 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1974 - 21 <br /> <br />ORDER DECLARING RESULT OF SPECIAL CITY ELECTION <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS I <br />THE COUNTY OF HAYS I <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />.t- <br /> <br />On this the 1st day of May, 197;(, the City Council of the City of San Marc~~, <br />Texas, convened in Special Session open to the public at the regular meeti~g <br />place thereof with the following members present, to-~it: <br /> <br />Ross King, Mayor Pro-Tem <br />Guillermo DeLa Rosa, Councilman <br />Bill Dibrell, Councilman <br />David R. Tauch, Councilman <br /> <br />constituting a quorum, and among other proceedings had were the following: <br /> <br />Councilman Dibrell introduced a Resolution and Order and moved its adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Tauch and the motion carrying with <br />it the adoption of the Resolution and Order prevailed by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />DeLa Rosa, Dibrell, King, Tauch <br />None. <br /> <br />The Resolution is as follows: <br /> <br />There came on to be considered the returns of an election held on the 30th <br />day of April, 1974, for the purpose of election the hereinafter named officials <br />and considering the hereinafter described proposition, and it appearing from said <br />returns, duly and legally made, that there were cast at said election 13,317 <br />valid and legal votes; that each of the candidates and propositions in said <br />election received the following votes: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />FOR COUNCILMAN, PLACE 1 <br /> <br />NAME OF CANDIDATE <br /> <br />TOTAL NUMBER OF VOTES RECEIVED <br /> <br />Ted Breihan <br />Alphonso Washington <br /> <br />1940 <br />1622 <br /> <br />FOR COUNCILMAN, PLACE 2 <br /> <br />Rosalinda (Rosie)LMo1ano <br />John Hansen <br /> <br />1457 <br />2062 <br /> <br />FOR COUNCILMAN, PLACE 3 <br /> <br />Kenneth E.
