<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1971 - 8 <br /> <br />~q <br />~~ <br /> <br />FOLLOW-UP ORDER <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS X <br />THE COUNTY OF HAYS X <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS X <br /> <br />On this the 17th day of April, 1973, the City Council of <br /> <br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, Convened in Special session at <br /> <br />the regular meeting place in the City Hall of said City, with the <br /> <br />following members present, to wit: <br /> <br />EDDY A. ETHEREDGE <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />WILLIAM L. CUNNINGHAM <br /> <br />ROSS KING <br /> <br />DAVID R. TAUCH <br /> <br />Councilmen <br /> <br />HERBERT A. YARBROUGH, JR. <br /> <br />and the following absent: Councilmen Guillermo DeLa Rosa and <br /> <br />Luciano H. Flores; and City Secretary, Dorothy O. Worrell, <br /> <br />constituting a quorum, at which time the following, among other <br />proceedings were had, to wit: <br /> <br />The proposed ordinance was introduced and read in full. <br /> <br />Councilman Tauch moved that the rule requiring ordinances <br /> <br />to be read at more than one meeting of the Council be suspended and <br /> <br />that said ordinance be passed as an emergency measure because of <br /> <br />the emergency stated in the preamble to said ordinance and that <br /> <br />said ordinance become effective immediately from and after its <br /> <br />passage. The motion was seconded by Councilman King. The <br /> <br />motion carried by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Mayor Etheredge and Councilmen Cunningham, King, <br /> <br />Tauch and Yarbrough; <br /> <br /> <br />NOES: None. <br />
