ORDINANCE 1981-23 <br /> <br />156 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROPRIATING REVENUES RECEIVED <br />FROM THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY BY SAID CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas has received four hundred <br />twenty three thousand, three hundred ninety six dollars ($423,396.00) <br />from the sale of real property owned by said City; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said revenues have not been previously appropriated to <br />any specific funds; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of said City, on December 8, 1980 approved <br />the expenditure of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) for renovation <br />and repair of Dunbar Center; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of said City, on September 8, 1980, <br />approved the expenditure of fifty thousand dollRrs ($50,000.00) for <br />administration of the Community Development programs of said City; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, additional funding is needed for the Victory Gardens Phase <br />II Project to provide sidewalks and administrative funds for the project; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY ~OF S~ MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) from revenues <br />received from the sale by the City of San Marcos, Texas of real property <br />owned by said City, be, and the same is hereby, appropriated to renovation <br />and repair of Dunbar Center. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) from revenues <br />received from the sale by the City of San Marcos, Texas of real property <br />owned by said City, be, and the same is hereby, appropriated to administra- <br />tion of the Community Development program of said City. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. That seventeen thousand, five hundred dollars ($17,500~00) <br />from revenues received from the sale by the City of San Marcos, Texas of <br />real property owned by said City, be, and the same is hereby, appropriated <br />to the Victory Gardens Phase II Project for provision of sidewalks and <br />administrative expenses for said project. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4.
