<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos desires to participate in an <br />areawide system of emergency services; and <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS,-the City of San Marcos understands that the system <br /> <br /> <br />of emepgency services will. iFlclude: emergency medical vehicles, <br /> <br /> <br />para-medical. persoFlnel sepvices, centralized communications, <br /> <br /> <br />and records-keeping services, and the probable establishment <br /> <br /> <br />of a universal emergency number such as "911"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of,San Marcos understands that the initial <br />installation and purchase of appropriate materials wi I I be <br />paid for tnroughcontract to CAPCO from the Department of <br />Health, Education and Welfare; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Marcos wil I <br />support the development of,an emergency system within the <br />Capital Area State Planning Region. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this the 10th day of April, 1972. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />v4f:~#~ <br /> <br />luciano H.
