<br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on the 20th day of May, 1972, the President <br /> <br />declared a "major disaster" in the State of Texas under <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />the provisions of Publ ic Law 606, 91st Congress, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, I s a pub lie ent i ty with i n <br /> <br />said State; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci I of the <br /> <br />City of San Marcos, Texas: <br /> <br />THAT Mark E. Gresham, City Manager, be and he is hereby <br /> <br />authorized to execute for and in behalf of the City of <br /> <br />San Marcos, Texas, a publ ic entity establ ished under the <br /> <br />laws of the State of Texas, this appl ication and to fi Ie <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />it;!n t~e,appropriate State office for the purpose of <br /> <br />obtaini~g certain Federal financial assistance under the <br /> <br />Federal Disaster Act (Publ ic Law 606, 91st Congress). <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this 12th day of June, 1972. <br /> <br />~ ~~ ~<J /~L~~ <br />~no H.
