<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dean Word Construction Company of New Braunfels, <br /> <br /> <br />Texas, was the low bidder in the amount of Four Hundred Ninety <br /> <br /> <br />Six Thousand, Seven Hundred Sixty-one Dollars and Ninety-one <br /> <br /> <br />Cents ($496,761.91) for the improvement and extension of those <br /> <br /> <br />portions of Sessom Drive from Water Street to Ranch Road 12 <br /> <br /> <br />and Comanche Street from Matthews Street to the extension of <br /> <br /> <br />Sessom Drive within the boundaries of the project entitled <br /> <br /> <br />Code Enforcement, TEX - E19; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C I TV COUNC I L OF <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />THAT its duly elected Mayor, Luciano H, Flores, be and <br /> <br /> <br />he is hereby authorized to execute a contract between the City <br /> <br /> <br />of San Marcos and Dean Word Construction Company of New Braunfels, <br /> <br /> <br />Texas, to proceed with this work, subject to concurrence of <br /> <br /> <br />the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and that the <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor be authorized to sign and execute all documents pertaining <br /> <br /> <br />to the aforesaid work after they have been reviewed and approved <br /> <br /> <br />by the City Attorney, and further, that the Director of Publ ic <br /> <br /> <br />Works be authorized to issue notice to proceed with the work, <br /> <br /> <br />subject to concurrence of the Department of Housing and Urban <br /> <br /> <br />Development. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this the 9th day of October, 1972. <br /> <br />~c~1'~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />nifL <br />
