<br />66. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2002- 12 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS,APPROVINGAGRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY AND THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY (HOPS") FOR <br />GRANT FUNDING FOR CONVERSION TO THE NATIONAL AND TEXAS <br />INCIDENT BASED REPORTING SYSTEMS (NIBRS/TIBRS); <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT <br />AND RELATED DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City wishes to wishes to enter into an agreement with DPS for grant <br />funding for the Police Department's conversion to the NIBRSITIBRS. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached Memorandum of Understanding between the City and <br />DPS for grant funding for the Police Department's conversion to the NIBRS/IIBRS is <br />approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br />agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 4.
