• RESOLUTION 2011 -12R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF AN ANNUAL <br />CONTRACT WITH UNIVERSAL LANDSCAPE SERVICES FOR THE <br />PROVISION OF LAWN MAINTENANCE SERVICES AT AN ANNUAL <br />COST OF $67,293.55; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING MANAGER <br />TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THIS <br />CONTRACT EXTENSION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. On January 5, 2010 the City Council of the City of the City of San Marcos <br />approved an annual contract with Universal Landscape Services for the provision of lawn <br />maintenance services (the "Contract "). <br />2. Both parties agree to an extension of the Contract for an additional year. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The extension of the Contract with Universal Landscape Services for the <br />provision of lawn maintenance services at an annual cost of $67,293.55 is approved. <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl, is authorized to execute <br />appropriate documents related to the Contract extension on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
