• RESOLUTION NO. 2011- 15 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, RATIFYING THE SUBMITTAL OF A NO- <br />MATCH GRANT APPLICATION TO THE OFFICE OF THE <br />GOVERNOR CRIMINAL JUSTICE DIVISION REQUESTING THE <br />SUM OF $75,000 FOR THE PURCHASE OF AUTOMATED TICKET <br />WRITERS AND ASSOCIATED SOFTWARE FOR THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT: AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER <br />INTO ANY AGREEMENTS AS NECESSARY TO IMPEMENT THE <br />GRANT IF AWARDED TO THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The submittal of a grant application to the Office of the Governor Criminal <br />Justice Division in the amount of $75,000.00 to purchase automated ticket writers and <br />associated software for the Police Department is hereby ratified. <br />• PART 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute any necessary documents relating to <br />the grant application and execute any agreements necessary to implement the grant if <br />awarded to the City. <br />PART 3.
