RESOLUTION 2011- 2 0 <br />• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF AN ANNUAL <br />CONTRACT WITH SAC -N -PAC STORES, INC. FOR THE PROVISION <br />OF A FLEET CARD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM; AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE <br />DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THIS CONTRACT EXTENSION ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS <br />1. On February 3, 2009 the City Council of the City of San Marcos approved an <br />annual contract with Sac -N -Pac Stores, Inc. for the provision of a fleet card management system <br />(the "Contract'). <br />2. The original bid (I1713- 209 -010) provided the City with the option to renew the <br />Contract for three (3) additional one -year terms. <br />3. The City approved the extension of the Contract for the first term on February 2, <br />2010 and both parties agree to extend this Contract for the second one -year term. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />is TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The second extension of the Contract with Sac -N -Pac Stores, Inc. for the <br />provision of a fleet card management system is approved. <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl, is authorized to execute <br />appropriate documents related to this contract extension on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
