<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />93. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2002 - .13- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING SECTIONS 86.197, <br />86.199 AND 86.200 OF THE CITY CODE TO REVISE CITY <br />UTILITY DEPOSIT POLICIES AND TO REVISE UTILITY <br />BILL PAYMENT DUE DATES, PENALTY DATES AND <br />DISCONNECTION DATES; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL <br />PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENAL TIES. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The Finance Department has recommended that Section 86.197 of the City Code be <br />revised to provide more uniformity in utility deposit policies for persons who have previously <br />established good credit as customers of the City's utilities. <br /> <br />2. The Finance Department has also recommended that Sections 86.199 and 86.200 of <br />the City Code be revised to adopt a uniform table for utility payment due dates, penalty dates and <br />disconnection dates. <br /> <br />3. The City Council wishes to implement these recommendations by revlsmg these <br />respective City Code sections. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1.
