Womack <br />Mark Taylor <br />Carol Barrett <br />Collette Jamison <br /> <br />Also Present: Pam Couch, Brad Rollins, Margie Moore, Gloria Salazar, Fred <br />Markham, Wayne Becak, Bill Cunningham, John Navarette, Renate Yanity, <br />Melissa Millecam, Dan Rogers, Phil Neighbors, Richard Garza, Stephanie <br />Garcia, Shelley Goodwin and others. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz lead the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government <br />Code, Section 551.071, to seek the City Attorney's advice regarding <br />pending litigation, contemplated litigation, a settlement offer, or a <br />matter involving attorney-client privilege (economic development services <br />contract). The Council adjourned into Executive Session at 6:02 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz announced the Council would reconvene at 6:32 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced the 30-Minute Citizen Comment. No speakers <br />signed up to speak during the Citizen Comment Period. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced a discussion regarding economic development <br />request for proposal evaluation process. Mr. O'Leary provided the Council <br />with a Memo regarding Economic Development RFP Recommendation. He stated <br />at the Regular Meeting held on July 19, 2005, Council directed Staff to <br />evaluate the three proposals using the three criteria approved by Council. <br />He also stated a team of five staff members evaluated the RFPs and then <br />interviewed the three proponents. Mr. O'Leary inquired as to the next step <br /> <br />* Mr. Taylor was not present at this meeting. <br />
