AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 2.362 OF THE CITY CODE TO CHANGE THE COMPOSITION OF THE SAN MARCOS YOUTH COMMISSION; AND INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS. 147. ORDINANCE NO. 2002- 17 RECIT ALS: 1. The City Council established a San Marcos Youth Commission in 1999 to further the City's participation in the "America's Promise" program and to promote the healthy development of all youth in the greater San Marcos area. 2. The City Council wishes to amend the ordinance establishing the Youth Commission to add a representative of Gary Job Corps, and to delete the representative of Central Texas Medical Center and an adult at-large representative. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. Sections 2.362 of the City Code is amended as follows (underlining indicates added text; cp.'ergtrike indicates deleted text): Sec. 2.362. Established; composition; terms. (a) The San Marcos Youth Commission is established. The commission is composed of 14 .1.S. members appointed by the city council.
