<br />137. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2000 - 18 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE STATEMENT OF CASH <br />MANAGEMENT AND INVESTMENT POLICIES; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City is required by the Texas Public Funds Investment Act (the "Act") to <br />review and update its investment policy annually. <br /> <br />2. City has reviewed and included procedural amendments and amendments <br />required by changes made to the Act during the 1999 legislative session. <br /> <br />3. The City Council wishes to adopt the Statement of Cash Management and <br />Investment Policies to replace the policies now in effect. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1.
