<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />104. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2006- <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TOA SOFTWARE LICENSE AND <br />MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND MRO <br />SOFTWARE, INC. (FORMERL YPROJECT SOFTW ARE AND DEVELOPMENT, <br />INC.) FOR THE UPGRADE OF THE MAXIMO SYSTEM; AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECIT ALS: <br /> <br />1. On March 16, 1998 the City approved a software license and maintenance agreement with <br />Project Software and Development, Inc. ("PSDI") for the implementation of the MAXIMa <br />Computerized Maintenance Management System for the Public Works Department. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to the City's approval ofthe agreement with PSDI, PSDI was acquired by MRO, <br />Software, Inc. and the City wishes to expand its use of the MAXIMO system to additional City <br />departments. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />P ART 1. The attached Amendment No.1 to an agreement between the City and MRO <br />Software Inc. (formerly PSDI) for the upgrade of the MAXIMO system is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to execute the Amendment <br />on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />P ART 3.
