<br />121 <br /> <br />RESOLTUIN NO. 1981-20R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE <br />OF THE SPRING LAKE PUMP STATION REHABILITATION <br />(PHASE ONE) IN SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING <br />FINAL PAYMENT TO JIM WINN IRON WORKS OF WIMBERLY, <br />TEXAS FOR THIS PROJECT; AND ESTABLISHING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has contracted with <br />Jim Winn Iron Works, of Wimberly, Texas for the rehabilitation <br />of the Spring Lake Pump Station (phase one) in the City of San <br />Marcos, Hays County, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said rehabilitation has been completed and Jim <br />winn has requested final inspection on said work; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said final inspection was conducted on February 18, <br />1981; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Acting Director of Public Works of the City of <br />San Marcos recommends that the City Council accept said construc- <br />tion for use by the City as of February 18, 1981, and authorize <br />final payment to Jim Winn Iron Works in the amount of thirteen <br />thousand eight hundred thirty eight dollars and six cents ($13,838.06), <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the work performed by Jim Winn Ironworks of <br />Wimber ly, Texas in rehabili tatihg the Spring Lake Pump S ta tion (phase <br />one) in San Marcos, Texas, be, and is hereby, accepted as being <br />complete pursuant to the terms of the contract for said construction. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the City of San Marcos, is hereby authorized to <br />make the final payment to Jim Winn Iron Works for said construction <br />in the amount of thirteen thousand eight hundred thirty eight dollars <br />and six cents ($13,838.06). <br /> <br />PART 3.
