<br /> <br />105 <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1982-9 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT <br />ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LO- <br />CATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, <br />DATED SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY ZONING 11.22 <br />ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE J. M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO. <br />ONE, LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF WONDER WORLD <br />DRIVE AT THE INTERSECTION OF HUNTER ROAD AND WON- <br />DER WORLD DRIVE, FROM "AO" (AGRICULTURAL OPEN- <br />SPACE DISTRICT) TO "c" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) . <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the following described parcel of real property 10- <br /> <br />cated in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which was classified "AO" <br /> <br />(Agricultural Open-Space District) upon its annexation to the City <br /> <br />of San Marcos on November 24, 1980, henceforth shall be zoned as fol- <br /> <br />lows: <br /> <br />11.22 acres of land in the J. M. Veramendi League No. One, Hays County, <br />Texas, being herein identified as Tract No.4, and being a part of the <br />original 41.24 acre tract of land conveyed in a deed from Mrs. Lona F. <br />Forgy to C. D. Moore and recorded in Volume 127, Page 156, Hays County <br />Deed Records, said 41.24 acre tract of land being the same land described <br />as Tract No.1, in a deed from C. D. Moore, et ux, to Wayne Moore, dated <br />August 11, 1964, and recorded in Volume 202, Page 206, Hays County Deed <br />Records; <br /> <br />COMMENCING at an iron pipe driven into the ground, said iron pipe mark- <br />ing the intersection of the Southeast line of F. M. #2439 (Hunter Road) , <br />and the Northeast line of F. M. #3407 (Wonder World Drive - formerly <br />Redwood Road) ; <br /> <br />THENCE, N. 190 19' 07" E., along the Southeast line of F. M. #2439, a <br />distance of 461.18 feet to a point, said point marks the most Northerly <br />corner of Parcel 4; <br /> <br />THENCE, departing the Southeast line of F. M. #2439, S. 460 17' 00" <br />E., a distance of 1258.51 feet to a point, said point marks the most <br />Easterly corner of the parcel herein described; <br /> <br />THENCE, S. 430 29' 06" W., a distance of 420.00 feet to a fence post <br />set in concrete in the Northeast line of F. M. #3407, said fence post <br />marks the most Southerly corner of the herein described Parcel No.4; <br /> <br />THENCE, N. 460 17' 00" W., a long the Northeast line of F. M. #3407, <br />a distance of 1069.71 feet to an iron pipe, said iron pipe being the <br />most Westerly corner of the herein described land and also the point <br />of beginning of this description, located on the North side of Wonder <br />World Drive at the intersection of Hunter Road and Wonder World Drive, <br />to be zoned "c" (Commercial District) . <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be In full force and effect ten <br /> <br />(10) days from and after passage and publication in a newspaper of <br /> <br />general circulation in the area. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading February 22, 1982. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading March 8, 1982. <br />
