ORDINANCE 2003- 10 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING LOT 45, OF THE A. M. RAMSAY ADDITION LOCATED AT 203 THIRD STREET FROM "M" SINGLE-FAMILY, DUPLEX AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "R-I" SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. 85. RECITALS: 1. On December 10, 2002, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from "M" Single-Family, Duplex and Neighborhood Business District to "R-I" Single-Fmnily Residential District (Low Density) for Lot 45, of the A.M. Ramsay Addition located at 203 Third Street. 2. Subsequent to the public hem'ing on that date, the Planning and Zoning Commission did, on December 10, 2002 consider and vote to approve the reqnest, and has recommended that the request be approved by the City Com~cil of the City. 3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 26th day of February ,2003, regm'ding the request. 4. Ail requirements of Chapter 114, Zoning, of the San Mm'cos City Code pertaining to zoning map amendments have been met 5. The City Cotmcil hereby finds mhd determines that the adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public healfl~, morals, welfare and safety. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 114.029 of the San Marcos City Code, is m~ended to rezone the following real property ~vhich is presently zoned "M" Single-Family, Dnplex and Neighborhood Business District to "Rd" Single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density): StTeet address: 203 Third Street.
