<br />106 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1999 - 2.0 -R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A LETTER <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT <br />TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CEMETERY MAINTENANCE <br />CONTRACT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />AGREEMENT. ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On September 23, 1996 the City of San Marcos entered into a cemetery <br />maintenance contract with Maintenance Management. <br /> <br />2. On September 8, 1997 the both parties agreed to an extension of the <br />Contract for an additional year. <br /> <br />3. Both parties agree to an extension of the Contract for an additional year. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached letter agreement between the City of San Marcos and <br />Maintenance Management to extend the term of the cemetery maintenance contract for <br />an additional year is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br />agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and <br />after its passage. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this the 25th day of January 1999. <br /> <br />D~~. ~ <br /> <br />Billy G.
